Do you know the feeling of always having all the right answers to how and what you should have done after it happened? When its too late..
Download and print this PDF – and start to work on how you get to know yourself in order for you to chance your mindset and your behavior in these situations.
Get to know yourself
Our thoughts influence the way our body reacts, how we feel and what we do. Thoughts – Moods – Behaviors and Physical Reactions are all interconnected and influenced by each other. If you want to learn how to deal with your challenges, you can start by doing the following:
Pay attention to the situations in your life where you experience challenges. Write down the situations.
What happened? Were are you? Where you alone? Or with someone? Did someone say something? Or do something? Write every single thing down..
Then answer the 4 following questions with one particular situation in mind – be very specific (choose the one that troubles you the most – later you can repeat this exercise with other situations):
- Whats going through your head at this exact moment? Write down all your thoughts!
- What are you feeling at this exact moment? Write down all your feelings, describe them as good as you can.
- How does your body react? heart rhythm? sweating? pain? and so on ..
- And what do you do? What are your behavior?
Now you have a complete overview of the situation. It’s very important that you know your challenges very well in order for you to learn how to react to them. By getting to know yourself, how you feel, what you are thinking, how your body reacts and what your behavior is like in your challenged situations – you will eventually be able to recognize the situations, and by that train how to change your mindset and your behavior.
Spend the next couple of days writing these situations down.
NEXT STEP will be to work on how to change.
Feel free to post questions!
