Individual Mental Aspects of The CrossFit European Regionals 2012 # 2: Chloe Williams
My best experience during this years CrossFit Regional was being a part of something and becoming closer to my fellow team members. The most challenging thing throughout the competition, was being able to have confidence in myself and to use the pressure of not letting my team down in a postive way! I handled this by communicating a lot with the team, and spend time on taking in the surroundings! I really appreciated the fact that I was at REGIONALS!!! And that I DESERVED to be there! To me the most important thing is to be able to think positive in order for me to conquer the hard times – and also to spend time with the mentally strong members of the affiliate. I remember to smile a lot and that its meant to be fun and that I had done all the physical hard training …
To me it is good to remind myself to be the same person I am in life as I am as a CrossFitter.
I would advice other CrossFitter to train with positive strong people, who are better than you and motivate you to be a better person!
