Mentalwod is back: One goal down!
To me, life is about reaching goals – all different kind of goals. I just need to know that Im heading for something. In order for me to do that, I need to SET goals. I need to set strategies. I need to follow my strategies. I need to work – even on those days, where I dont feel like it. I know, that I have the power to feel successful! Its all up to me.
I bet, you have goals as well! And if not, make some! Do yourself the favor, to be specific – so that you know what you need to do, everyday, to reach that goal!
Today I had a deadline for one of my goals in life; finishing two articles for publication as a part of my master thesis in sport psychology. Its been such a long journey - from conducting the interviews, to code the material, to analyze it – and to write it so that scientists, athletes, parents, coaches and other sport psychologists can learn from it. One year of work. An Amazing Journey.
Well, time to get back to Mentalwod – there are so many things on the program this fall, I will get much more into details later on – but first I have received some great reflections on the mental aspects of performing at the Games 2012 from Camille Leblanc-Bazinet!!
